About Me

I’ve been passionate about programming and video games from a young age, which naturally led me to study programming at LBTU. During my studies, I joined a bootcamp for aspiring programmers, and it was there that Maksims, the Microsoft BI lead at Accenture Baltics, recognized my potential in the Data/BI space. Ever since, I’ve been working with the Microsoft BI stack, and I’m truly grateful to Maksims for guiding me toward the world of data.

Eventually, I decided to pursue my own path and started freelancing. Shortly after, I founded my own company, Adapt BI, to scale my work and provide data solutions at a higher level.

Afterwards, I joined a Latvian fintech company, where I quickly proved myself by working on reporting and data projects, with a strong focus on automation through Microsoft Azure.

When COVID hit, I returned to Accenture Baltics, contributing to a variety of projects—from batch processing to streaming datasets. During my time there, I progressed from Junior/Mid to Senior level, even leading a bootcamp for new data engineers and assisting the guild lead.

Later, I joined a car rental brokerage company as the sole data person. There, I built a data warehouse and reporting systems from scratch, helping the business extract real value from their data.
